The Hyde Heath Village Fete succeeded in drawing a large attendance despite the threat of heavy rain showers. myChilterns was on hand to film the fete and the star attraction Spitfire flypast.

The Hyde Heath Village Fete and Dog Show is organised by the Hyde Heath Village Hall Management Committee who managed to bring together all the other village groups to man the stalls and sell the programmes. In the main arena there were displays from the Amersham Garland Dancers and the Chequers Advocates German Shepherd Display Team plus an extensive classic cars display, dog show and a children's petting zoo area.
